The MeterX tariff engine carries 1000+ NERSA, Eskom and municipal tariff structures, including time-of-use, inclining block and demand-based tariffs — and bespoke tariffs are supported. Each tenancy is billed on its own assigned tariff.
MeterX attributes every 30-minute interval of consumption to its actual supply source — grid, solar PV, battery storage or diesel genset — using grid-presence detection and per-source metering. Tenants can then be billed differently for backup power than for grid supply, with the split disclosed on the bill.
Yes. Tenants get portal access to their own stores, consumption charts at 30-minute resolution, and every bill with its line items. Landlords get the same transparency across their whole site.
